Ribosomes: the wildlife

More than just clusters of proteins and nucleic acids from the nucleolus, the Ribosomes make the proteins for the cell. Twilight and dawn tours are given to view the Ribosomes in their natural habitats. The twilight tour shows the ribosomes in the outer surface of the membrane, who make proteins that work in the membranes. The dawn tour, however, shows the ribosomes in the cytoplasm responsible for making enzymes and proteins that stay in the cytoplasm. Each equally stellar tours, the experience truly allows one to appreciate the value of Ribosomes, one of the most prized parts here at the cell, as well as just exactly ribosomes make the proteins that allow not only us, but all our sister resort cells to function on a day to day basis.
